Nexium successfully delivers for the Commonwealth Games
Nexium Telecommunications has completed a new fibre optic service for the Gold Coast to help broadcast the 2018 Commonwealth Games to an estimated 1.5 billion television viewers worldwide.
This new fibre will also provide safe city outcomes with real time CCTV images delivered to the 24hr monitoring centre.
A Gold Coast City Council representative was impressed with Nexium Telecommunications’ professionalism and promptness in delivering this project, allowing them to commence testing well ahead of schedule.
“This project was delivered on time and on budget because of the very effective partnership between Nexium Telecommunications and Energy Queensland. I greatly appreciate everyone’s support and understanding of the importance of this priority project, strengthening our partnership with the City of Gold Coast as they expand their digitally-connected city, enabling them to make better-informed decisions and realise greater efficiencies," Project Manager Shaun Rushby said.
"Building on our statewide network, Nexium looks forward to continue working with Energy Queensland on many other important projects throughout Queensland.”
